Showcasing local events is a great way to attract visitors and keep your community engaged. With Tourismo, you can easily enter and manage events to be displayed on your website or app, giving users a seamless way to discover what’s happening in the area.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to add events to Tourismo.

To start, head to Events > Events in the sidebar and click “New Event +” in the top right corner.

Give your event a Title, Cost, and select a Region. If you have the booking URL handy, add that in there as well; you can also decide whether you want to Feature this event or not. Next, hit Save ✔️ - these can be adjusted later.

You'll be brought to the Overview tab, where you can see generic information regarding your event.

Head to the Basic Info tab to review the information you've entered, as well as adjust:

  • Status of your Event (whether or not it's published on your website/app)

  • The Owner of the event (this defaults to the user who created the event)

  • Phone Number, Email, and additional URL of the event.

Next, set your the time frame of your event by heading to the Event Times and Location tab.

Select Get Started + to add your event times.

Select whether to mark your event as All Day, Sold Out, or if it's a Recurring Event.

Set your Start and End days & time.

Set your Location: the Locations drop down will provide your a list of your Listings assign your Event to. For more on Listings, head here.

Recurring Events

If your event is a Recurring event, you have some additional settings:

  • Frequency can be set to Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Annually

  • Under Until set the end date for your recurring event

  • Interval defines how many times the event happens within your Frequency

  • Count sets how many times your event will repeat given your Frequency/Interval.

After you have entered your event times and location, add a description under the Description tab.

Lastly, set your hero image and associated images under Images.

Note: When adjusting your event or adding details, don't forget to hit Save in the bottom left corner.

That's it! Whether it’s a festival, concert, or community gathering, you’ll be able to keep your audience in the loop with up-to-date information on all your upcoming events.
