Challenge Types

This article covers the basic challenge types that define the basic rules for users completing challenges.

There are 7 challenge types, and they define the basic rule for completion of the challenge; Choose the type that best suits your contest or challenge needs;

Unique Task

This is probably the most common type. Use this if you are planning on having a user complete 1 or more tasks only one time each. You will define the tasks to be completed under the tasks section.

Repeat Task

Use this if you have one or more tasks that can or have to be repeated multiple times. This is often used with points programs to define how frequently you can check in at a location.

Rewards Earned

Use this if the challenge is a result of earning other rewards from challenges. This is often used to offer a Super badge, or something similar, for completing multiple other badge challenges.

Sequential Days

Use this for when you want a user to perform a task multiple days in a row to get the reward

Sequential Weekends

Use this for when you want a user to perform a task multiple weekends in a row to get the reward

Social Share - PLANNED

Use this if you are tracking a hashtagged instagram or facebook post

Any Check In

Use this if you want the user to complete any single task, and be provided with the reward.
